The JenPen Interior Design Retreat will be jam-packed with design inspiration.

You will eat at the finest establishments in and around Medellin and get the most spectacular glimpses into Colombian culture. 4 days of creative inspiration, interesting settings, delicious food, and enjoyable company.

For those who love design, we have put together a wonderful four days. After the retreat, you’ll be filled with inspiration and elation, have made new friends and contacts, and have a completely new perspective on Colombia and all that it has to offer in terms of travel, manufacturing, and design.

Itinerary

Day 1 | Tuesday

Arrive in Medellin + Spa treatment + Shopping tour

We leave Curacao in the early morning and get to Medellin a few hours later.

The first experience to get the inspiration retreat off to a good start is to relieve all stress with a distinctive spa treatment.

We’ll leave for a delicious lunch at a distinctive dining location after a wonderful morning of relaxation.

We’ll embark on a shopping tour for home design inspiration after a delicious meal. You will learn more about furniture, style, and design as a result.

You are free to make a purchase if you feel the need to.

After the shopping excursion, we return to the hotel to freshen ourselves before going out to a lovely restaurant for dinner.

*Luggage will be dropped off at the hotel.

Day 2 | Wednesday

Artesian Workshop

We’ll have a satisfying breakfast at the hotel to start the day.

We will travel to the artesian workshop after breakfast. We will make two to three pieces of pottery in this course (to take home).

Following the course, we’ll be leaving Medellin for lunch and a special interior design shopping excursion with a more regional flavor.

After that, we’ll return to the hotel to freshen up before going out to a lovely restaurant for supper.

Day 3 | Thursday

La Feria de Diseño

At the hotel, a hearty breakfast will get the day started.

Will be off for the La Feria de Diseño after breakfast. Here, we may look at the newest designs that are available, communicate with suppliers, and get additional inspiration for our own work.

We return to the hotel to freshen ourselves after spending the day here. And supper at a special place.

Day 4 | Friday

Departure from Medellin

We’ll have breakfast at the hotel to get the day started.

Today, everyone will have the opportunity to explore the hotel’s surroundings at their own pace. Alternately, you can unwind and connect with other people who like to unwind until it’s time to head to the airport.

The interior design retreat concludes today.

Day 5 | Saturday

City or shopping tour

If you decide to stay an additional two days, we can take you to Gautape or two shopping malls.

Gautape is a charming little town where you can eat, take pictures, buy one-of-a-kind handmade goods, and take a boat ride.

Day 6 | Sunday

Departure from Medellin
A nutritious breakfast will set the tone for the day. You can decide to unwind at the lodging or make a fast excursion to the shopping center. You will then proceed to the airport.
