W=Creative Workspaces : Creative Lab Curacao

Wednesday I always explore the amazing work spaces that there is to find. But this time I went close and personal on my own little island, Curacao. I went to Creative Lab Curacao. 

This working space is especially created for creative people like graphic designers, photographers, architects, publishers, concept developers, copywriters and many more. They can come and work on their own, having their own clients and if needed work together to bounce of inspiration of each other. The initiator behind this concept  is the lovely miss Gonneke van Kieboom. Her idea came with this motto: “Escape the boundaries of traditional thinking and just have plain old fun with your brains… and share ideas with others!”

She’s also the owner of WOW, a marketing business and Copyright G. And she is also a trend watching columnist for a local newspaper.

 The working desks are designed by Gonneke herself and made locally. I really like those Ikea hanging lamps.

And having a great space to work in, you get also a great outer space to talk and chill on. Check out this great balcony? Creative Lab is located in a monumental building in the up and coming (again) neighborhood of Scharloo. There is also a huge courtyard which is also available for rent for creative activities.
